Our Campsite
Just across from the Inn, our friendly campsite is a simple, welcoming spot to pitch up after a day on the fells. The campsite offers basic but well-kept facilities and is priced at £10.00 per person per night, payable on arrival at hotel reception. We don’t take advance bookings, but there’s usually plenty of space except on August Bank Holiday weekends.
We have toilets exclusively for campers, along with a wash-up sink and hot showers (£1 per shower). Towels and toiletries can be provided for a small extra charge, with a refundable deposit for towels.
If you’d like to start the day well-fuelled, breakfast is available to purchase, with a choice of bacon and/or egg, plus tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Just ask at reception or the rear entrance to the bar.
A few simple campsite guidelines

Checkout is 11am (an additional night will be charged after this time)
If you’re heading out walking, we’re happy to store your tent at the Inn for a modest charge
Getting here
The campsite is located opposite the Inn, on the right as you enter the car park. Access is on foot via the stile. There’s no vehicle access onto the site itself, but plenty of free parking is available nearby.
