Where do you start with this gem of the Lakes! The staff a brilliant, friendly and can’t do enough. The rooms take five stars all day long because they have brilliant baths! May seem trivial, but a good bath after a long hike is a major bonus. Food is excellent and quality beer. See you soon!!+1Posted on Google![]()

Best bits about this place is the location, free parking and the staff are friendly and very helpful. We had a double room with 2 single beds. The room was clean but is a bit tired. The beds are quite soft and not the best. There is no a/c or fridge, a fridge would of been very useful. Bathroom is adequate, clean, I like the shower gel, had a lovely smell to it. Breakfast was to order and it was very nice. There is also a shop on the premises that sells hiking clothing and accessories but also ice cream which was amazing. Shop closes at 5:30pm. The view out of our bedroom was lovely, as you can see in my pics. Have to say again, staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We also booked a room with a double bed, it was quite small and compact and didn't have a shower, but did have a bath. WiFi is available, not the strongest, struggles with video streaming or anything more than texting and basics. There is a bar and restaurant. The other point to note is the walls are thin and not the most sturdy. When the door closes in the room, the wall shudders and you can hear other guests walking the corridors. The place is better than camping in a field. We all agreed that the location was the best thing as there are no other options there other than camping.+1Posted on Google![]()
