We are proud to be able to host wedding receptions and are also now licensed to have weddings on the premises. We are incredibly flexible, and will do everything we can to make your special day perfect.

For weddings on the premises, we are licensed as follows:

Dining room 50 guests plus bride & groom
Lounge 20 guests plus bride & groom for a more intimate function

The charge for use of the venue, including the marriage and reception, but excluding food and drink, starts at £650 for up to 20 guests in the lounge. Prices for use of Abrahams' Restaurant vary from £1,500 for a ceremony only to £2,000 for a ceremony and reception. Evening dancing in the Restaurant is possible for an additional £500. 

The bride & groom will need to contact Whitehaven Registry Office on 0300 373 3730 Option 4, registration.service.cumberland@cumbria.gov.uk directly to book a Registrar. 

We normally host weddings from late September to late March. We recommend choosing a couple of dates when we can accommodate you (avoiding Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year when we are invariably full) and then you will need to contact the registry office to check the availability of a Registrar.

Once a date is confirmed we will allocate one of our lovely front of house team as your own planner so that you can have the same contact throughout.
